The Establishment of "Toyota Boshoku Europe"
The Toyota Boshoku Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya-city, Aichi, Japan President:
Masanao Motonami) will locally institutionalize the representative office of Belgium, "Toyota
Boshoku European Office," and establish "Toyota Boshoku Europe Corporation."
The objective of institutionalization will be to create a strategic stronghold in Europe by
utilizing Toyota Boshoku Europe Office's technological direction research and marketing
data-collection related to design and development planning, as well as their procurement and
production management functions. At the moment we are striving to strengthen marketing and
procurement functions, as well as collaborate with Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing
Europe S.A./N.V.
Furthermore, in the European region, Toyota Boshoku produces seat covers in Slovakia, filters
and engine instrument parts in Poland, and seats and doors in Turkey. In 2006 we plan on
beginning the production of past model service parts bumpers in France.
